Doesn't work for Anti-Theft

The Mercedes dealer was NOT able to program this key. Waited another 5 days for the dealer to send an authorized Mercedes key.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Frequency

22 dollars. Rip off for anti-theft

Cannot be used as described, at least by me. Waste of $22. Cannot be programmed on vehicle (2014 and newer). Neither a locksmith nor a dealer will use it.

I had to return

. I think the description should be more specific and mention that there is no chain just in case. Also for the price I paid you can find others much cheaper. Not impressed.

Pros
  • for anti-theft. Price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Buy boldly. It works!

Great product and quality for my 2014 CLA 250. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try and within 10 minutes the locksmith was able to program the key from scratch with no extra steps. Copies or spare keys. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Pros
  • Great workmanship
Cons
  • Almost never

Dealer is NOT the only one who can program the key

My local Mercedes Benz mechanic programmed the key. They need a code from a Mercedes and they charged me $175 for the coding. Now it works fine. The dealer wanted $250 for the key and $175 for the software. They also lied and said that only the DEALER can supply and program the keys. DON'T THINK DEALER. I bought a second spare key and it worked too.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Disappearance

Do your homework b4 u buy

So I read b4 reviews while doing my homework and paid $25 for nothing. After getting the key I called several locksmiths in my area and only one could do it and said he had to stay with the car for a day. I live in Providence, Rhode Island and he gave me $250. I contacted Mercedes and got a $300 key. It didn't take 2 to take my car as based on the VIN they just ordered the key and called me as soon as it arrived. Well, it's only been 2 days. So I ended up paying $325 since I ordered the key as…

Amazing way to save big on a new MB key

I broke my MB E350 key fob trying to log in without watching the YouTube video first. Guilty. Then I needed a new MB key fob. Mercedes told me a new one would cost $400. BUT THERE IS A MUCH BETTER WAY! I ordered the same key fob (the only difference is that there is no MB logo on the front - see photo). There was even a new battery in the key. It's exactly the same as the original, but of course it won't work if it's not programmed. My solution was to disassemble the broken key fob and remove…
