SUMMARY: Be prepared for these shoes to fall apart as they lasted me about 2 months. DETAILS: I bought these shoes because I am a vegetarian and avoid shoes made from animal products. Unfortunately, all the loafers I find fall apart quickly. These shoes are no exception, but while most boots fall apart where the upper meets the sole, these Deer Stag Everest shoes have started to fall apart at the seams that connect the tongue to the rest of the upper. The problem seems to be the shoe width. Shoes - they are a bit narrower than advertised and I think my foot is wide enough to pinch on the seams. But they have an overall cheapness that makes this unsurprising; They don't provide very good support and any day that I have to walk a lot (instead of sitting at my desk) I find these shoes uncomfortable. Since they fall apart at first sight, I will replace them with another brand. I wish cruelty-free shoes didn't mean quality or affordable styles, but alas, it does.
