To suit your needs

I have been involved with electronics since the 1960's so I have seen many changes to various components. The dressing rooms are the same as they were in 1965, and this one is no exception. It is well made and otherwise fits the definition of a basic tie post. However, there are two features this doesn't have that I'd rather have. First, there is no soldering. Traditionally, the connecting post has a removable lug between two nuts that also serves as a lock washer. Second, there is no hole in the tie rod. I have always preferred to thread the wire connected to the unit through the hole indicated and then screw in the outer insulated nut. For my needs, I would have preferred those features, so I reduced this to one star.

Pros
  • Kit includes: 2 red connecting rods + 2 black connecting rods
Cons
  • weak
