I ordered the bigger ones as I wear size 8 or 8.5 shoes. I have normal (albeit athletic) ankles for a 5ft 5in female weighing 135 pounds. These socks are so tight at the corners that my skin oozes out at the top of the sock and looks very ugly. I've tried stretching them but to no avail. I tried trimming the seams around the top band, thinking I would cut the elastic, but there is no separate elastic, the "elasticity" is built into the fabric. 4 colors in the pack I bought.
