Electronic gear shift kit.

Works great! Mounted on a 94ft Corvette with a 4L60E engine. The car had slow gear changes and sometimes seemed to bleed from one gear to another. Not a sports car at all. This little invention changed the way you drive. Now he shifts quickly and clearly. It's not drastic by any means, but it feels like what you'd expect from a street/strip kit installed. Completely satisfied! 10/10 recommend!

Works perfect. for shifters and parts

Had it on my Pontiac G5 and it was pretty cool. So lvl 1 and dlvl 2. I kept it at lvl 1 most of the time. When I hit the ground on stage 2, the wheels would chirp, which was pretty cool, but the shifts were pretty harsh, so I went with stage 1. Wires. I separated my wires and connected them with wrapped tape.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

Better shifting, longer transmission life

This thing works great and is very easy to install. Two wires to the ECU clearly shown in the instructions and drill a hole and install. My Suburban now shifts much better and more confidently. I like the #1 setting better as it's a little less jerky than the #2 setting, but if you're into towing, #2 would be great. In addition, with my 96 you can switch between the settings "Off", "#1" and "#2" without any problems.

  • An absolute legend

  • Good overall, but...

Not the shift upgrade you are looking for

I have a '93 Chevy 1500. I installed it directly into the ECM and personally I haven't seen any change at all! The shift points stayed the same and never got tighter. If you're looking for a crap kit go pan with one, this isn't the answer! It was easy to install the velcro mount which didn't hold up from day one and again the shifts didn't change with any adjustment. Anyway, I feel better just letting the Stage 2 tune do its thing!

Best Value You Can Get

First of all I never leave reviews, although sometimes I have to. I installed this on a 94 Silverado from a 350. The 94 Silverado came from the factory with a Corvette servo, so it already shifted harder and better than most other years. With the addition of Shift Plus, the transmission has been woken up to the point where it drives like a completely different truck. With a good exhaust system, these people will think you spent thousands of dollars on your transmission just because they hear…

1998 Chevy Suburban 4L60e

I installed this on my 99ft OBS Suburb and it definitely makes shifting a lot quicker or firmer. I haven't had the chance to tow my 22ft camper trailer to get a feel for the gear changes it's supposed to offer, but I honestly think it will help the transmission last a lot longer, along with of course regular maintenance. My rating is based on a kit install with a brand new GM 4L60e with only 3xxx miles on it. Great product with no need to install a shift kit by resetting the gearbox. Also, I…

B&M Shift Improver - Big Improvement

I installed the B&M Shift Improver on my 1994 Chevy K1500 pickup just over a week ago. My gearbox is 4L60E. Installing the device was relatively easy. I removed the inside of the glove box to get to the truck's computer, pulled out a couple of clips holding it in place and connected it to the 2 wires listed in the simple instructions. I soldered this connection and did not use the plastic clips that came with the kit. The kit also included 2 cable ties which made it easier to route cables under
