Review on B&M 70380 ShiftPlus: Enhancing Performance with Electronic Shift Improver by Matthew Hoang

First of all I never leave reviews, although sometimes I have to. I installed this on a 94 Silverado from a 350. The 94 Silverado came from the factory with a Corvette servo, so it already shifted harder and better than most other years. With the addition of Shift Plus, the transmission has been woken up to the point where it drives like a completely different truck. With a good exhaust system, these people will think you spent thousands of dollars on your transmission just because they hear the gear change normally. I've built gearboxes in trucks where it turns second and the tires bark third, keeping it moving. This item is a good deal for what you get. I read a review that said he didn't notice a difference. In my opinion that would be impossible. He must have a bad connection or he got a lemon. It's quite difficult to get your hand in there to disconnect the wiring harness from the computer because it's behind the glove box and on the far right. It still wasn't a big deal. If you don't have one get one, if you want it to hit gears accurate enough add a Corvette servo because I believe you can install it on any GM product that it will work with. By the way, my truck has clocked up 151,000 miles on it. It was 17 years and 34,000 miles when I inherited it. My only regret is that I didn't install this thing sooner because it will definitely extend the life of the gearbox since the clutch doesn't slip as much.
