I've always wanted to try chain mail and got it as a "see if I like it" set. First, the individual rings are tiny. So if you have poor eyesight I would either use a magnifying glass or ditch this set. Next, the limbs are pretty close together so anyone with fine motor skills should probably drop in too. I have no problems and have struggled from time to time. I finished it with no problems, it took about four hours and I have a beautiful end product. Very nice, happy to give as a gift. I definitely plan on making more chain mail and I would definitely recommend this company's kit for beginners. The instructions were very clear and detailed. I would recommend for teenagers and older.
