Rings are smaller than you think, decent size end product. The rings are of good quality, I really like the bracelet. I bought a second one for my mom after I made mine. You need to make a set with slightly larger rings for men. I think I'll buy a third set and put the two together to make a wider men's version. After purchasing more rings, I customized this bracelet to have the correct colors. They force you to use the extra purple color in the kit if you want it to be big enough to carry. See

I've always wanted to try chain mail and got it as a "see if I like it" set. First, the individual rings are tiny. So if you have poor eyesight I would either use a magnifying glass or ditch this set. Next, the limbs are pretty close together so anyone with fine motor skills should probably drop in too.
