READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY! It has a 6ft cord, not 100, which in this case is the range of the remote control. Imagine my surprise followed by a good laugh :/ The item does what it's supposed to. The only thing I don't like is that the port cover hinge gets in the way on larger ports. It's not really a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind. Maybe that's standard with other spikes and brands?

My husband bought this for me so I don't have to turn on and off all the electricity outside every day and night. I can't say enough about how easy it is. Plugged in and unplugged all these years, only to be plugged in and unplugged the next day. It's perfect! I walk out, hit the power button and everything turns on immediately. Love it! I like it a lot. Such a simple setup makes the remote happy because sometimes it rains. My projector lights are fairly new and always on but they stopped working and I kept changing port heads and they would randomly turn on and off. My old cable burned out and I needed to replace it and I saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm not a jack of all trades and was able to set it up quickly and easily. I can fully recommend this product.

We used this product for our 2019 outdoor Halloween decorations for the first time. It worked perfectly. With the remote control, we can rotate all the decorations in one place. The timer worked well when we didn't want to leave them on all night. The post holds the electrical connections off the ground. We had a few showers and it didn't affect it. All of our decorations are LED, so they don't draw many amps. We look forward to using this product over the Christmas holidays as well!

I bought this to replace an old photosensitive socket that was used for accent lighting and Christmas lights. I didn't bother plugging it in until we had our 2019 Halloween decorations in place. We are in Texas where it doesn't rain that much but after 5 months a few days of moderate rain rendered it useless. The light on the switch is still lit, but nothing is connected to it and the LED showing your settings (filled with water) has stopped working. I would not recommend it to anyone who lives
