Purchased this unit based on the rating and the number of buys admittedly. The first one came quickly. Tried to use it and it wasn’t working properly and the timing was failing. Quick contact, return and replace with no issue and the second unit worked flawlessly. Installed and used on the outdoor Christmas light display and worked perfectly. Wish the first one worked but very happy with the customer service and how it played out on a relatively inexpensive purchase. Would buy again even so.

I can't speak to this being weatherproof because it's in my greenhouse but I do close the cover to protect it from drips.However, it is easy to use and has been reliable.My only complaint is that the weather proof cover on the unit is hard to open.

Easy to set the pins for timing--I have them set for 5pm to 6am since I live in Maine where daylight hours get skimpy in December. The plug and timer is mounted on the right hand pillar as you look at the photo. So far it has withstood icy temperatures, rain, and high winds. Snow arrives tomorrow but I don't anticipate any problem since it worked great in the rain. Very pleased!

I was hoping this would do the trick for some Christmas lights. I have reset the timer 2 dozen times and it hasn't turned on/off at proper time once.

Works like it should, very easy to use and set up, and the flip cover keeps it all weatherproof. There are 2 plug in spots in the bottom that are great for the pool filter and saltwater system

I'm a big fan of mechanical over digital on/off timers. This is honestly the first of these pushtab on/off timers I've had that didn't die on me within two months time. I've been using this for over 6 months and its still having zero problems. It seems almost as reliable as the more old fashioned ones that have the separate breaker piece to insert at your chosen times. My only real complaint is the same as always for these that have the tabs.its great that I can select 5 or 10 minute increments

I'm disappointed, but admittedly, I can't say for sure that this timer is to blame, but it looks like it.I intentionally ordered this one because it was heavy duty. I wanted to put my water heater (technically a diesel boiler) on a timer so it wouldn't waste fuel at night. It doesn't have an electric heating element, but it does have an electrode that ignites the fuel when it turns on. I was finding that my boiler was popping its internal fuse almost every day, but since taking it off the timer

I really needed a slightly long cord for my application, so couldn't use the screws to attach the timer. I had to use a zip tie.

I bought 2 and they’ve held up to the elements. Not the easiest to set up, but once you figure it out it’s no problem for future resetting.

On the paper instructions (I personally see no point in these) it says "for indoor use" but on the product itself it says "for outdoor use." I am a few months in and so far so good. I use it with a set of lights on my patio and the product does exactly what it was intended. No issues with heat (so far). I will amend this comment if I see any changes. It was easy to set up. Recommend.

I have bought two of these when you Plug the device in and turn it to setting mode the timer does not turn to count down the minutes to turn it off or on I’m very confused as to why this is happening with both devices

Basic no frills outdoor light timer that works. I don't need bluetooth or WiFi enabled light timers. In my mind the more complex, the more that can go wrong. This took less than a minute to set up and plug in. Haven't touched them since and they've worked perfectly.

Seems well-built. Very easy to operate. Because it is mechanical instead of electronic, it came back on after we briefly lost electricity. You would need to reset its clock after a lengthy power failure, but that is a simple matter of twisting a dial.

The timer works great and I love that it’s waterproof. Honestly the only complaint I have is how short the cord is, but we were able to make it work. It just barely comes out of our outside electrical outlet.

We used this for our car plugs in Alaska as it costs too much to have the cars plugged in all night so we just wanted them on for 2 hours before we go to work. Initially this worked perfectly but once it started getting colder, it stopped functioning all together, only working again when the temp got above around -20F. Sometimes Old School is the best option. When you need an outdoor timer to go on and off once a day, why bother with hi-tech options? Push pins on the dial make it so easy to set, no tiny letters and numbers to read. The two output plugs make it easy to connect two devices. Durable, simple, small, and seemingly reliable. I have now purchased two and am happy with them.

Have had this for a few months and still works great. We don’t get much rain in our area so may not have much moisture exposure but it’s been great so far. Easy to set up, works as advertised, and great price compared to other outdoor timers I’ve seen. We use it for our outdoor patio lighting but I plan on purchasing more for our outdoor Christmas lights this year.
