I bought this to replace an old photosensitive socket that was used for accent lighting and Christmas lights. I didn't bother plugging it in until we had our 2019 Halloween decorations in place. We are in Texas where it doesn't rain that much but after 5 months a few days of moderate rain rendered it useless. The light on the switch is still lit, but nothing is connected to it and the LED showing your settings (filled with water) has stopped working. I would not recommend it to anyone who lives in an area that gets rain, snow, sleet or fog, or who has a sprinkler system or hose in their home.
