Bought 2 KVM eKL USB, this version with 8 VGA ports and version with 2 4K ports. BOTH DEVICES cannot share keyboard and mouse. This means if you switch to another PC via KVM, only video is transferred - KB&M continues to control the first/source PC. So these are NOT KVM switches, just V-Switches. It's hard to believe that on ONE JOB, both devices can't do this. It's also worth noting that the 8-port box had minor stains, indicating that it was either (a) not given special care at the factory or (b) repackaged. I am returning both devices and will avoid ANY eKL products in the future.
