the rainshow er head and handheld shower settings are good. the main arm is all plastic and when you change the angle of the arm to raise/lower the position of the handheld, and when you change the angle of the handheld, it makes a very loud - very loud cracking noise as you move though the ratchet. It is sturdy now, but I do wonder how durable it will be over time. I know plastic is not in and of itself necessarily a weak or poor material, but it does feel like you could snap it or deform it if you handled it wrong. But the configuration is very good. The shower pipe is very high in our shower, and my husband being 6'5" tall is happy that it is tall, but I am only the average 5"6" tall, so having the handheld be a foot lower is just right for me. And the design is good - much better than the wobbly extension pole thing I had before. So I like it, and I do hope the ratchets hold up over time.
