Review on Mityvac MV4525 Coolant System Diagnostic by Joseph Whiteman

Mityvac MV4525 Cooling System Test, Diagnostic and Charge Kit I ordered this product from the National Tool Store and it arrived quickly. I had an issue with the product, the proprietary valve that Mityvac is so proud of was leaking. This tool is meant to be used to diagnose leaks in your cooling system and such, so it's ridiculous for me to look for a leak on the tool itself. I then contact the National Tool Warehouse and they tell me I can't get a refund for it until they know if they will get their money back from Mityvac. Excuse me? NTW later tells me that Mityvac wants to send me a new valve, which I find unacceptable. So I get this apology within 2 weeks from NTW and Mityvac that they don't want to refund my money. The sad thing is that NTW's return policy states that I can return an item for ANY reason within 30 days. Well I don't want it because it's broken and I want my money back. So tell me what the difference is what that should mean for me a consumer can NTW get his money back from Mityvac? I'm sorry but that's not my problem, that's the cost of doing business, and the reseller has to deal with the seller after the customer is done. So NTW finally realizes that I won't go and takes appropriate action. It took 2 more weeks to get my refund which just happened on 6/2/08. Needless to say, I will never deal with National Tool Warehouse or Mityvac again.
