Item received in excellent condition. The packaging in the box is excellent, well packaged. Figuring out where to place them was so easy, there was no need to find a spot away from beams and obstacles. I removed my existing kitchen faucet along with two old recessed lights. I drilled holes for the new LEDs and ran wires from hole to hole. They do not provide cable protection. You have to buy them separately. These are plastic inserts that you insert into the box that the wiring goes into to protect the wiring from sharp edges. I believe they should be in most electrical codes. I started the installation by wiring to all the junction boxes and then connected the LED housing to them with a quick connector. They are easy to insert into the ceiling with spring clips. After you hook them up to the same circuit it's time to turn them on and test them, oh my god they're bright. I bought the 5000K version because I HATE yellow light. And the boy did not disappoint. So much so that they need a dimmer haha. We used a Lutron DVWCL-153PH-WH since it was placed in a 3-way circuit. Use the dimmer slider to turn off full brightness. So far I love them and will update if I run into any problems in the future. (My wife said it's like being in the sun to the fullest with them!)
