I have this on a dual boot machine. As for XP, I have a 32-bit system, so there is a 4GB limit BUT I use the extra 12GB as a RamDrive when doing really fast video rendering. On the Ubuntu 64 side, it works like a charm. Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2p (version 4) AMD 3+ 1055t BE, 6 cores, 140W, OC up to 3.9GHz - increased it to 4.3, but didn't like the heat dissipation. Cooling on CPU, 4 case fans, never seen 100f except on GPU. The HD uses an external fan system. I didn't decide to switch to liquid cooling as the butterfly works well. Power supply 850 W. 1333 9-9-9 OC storage, total 16 GB, 6 TB, 7200 HD in Raid 10. The system can match or beat a whole range of new, supposedly faster and much more expensive systems. Sometimes old men are golden. Oh, and my son's $3,000 I7 can't keep up with me. I'm just looking forward to Lightworks for Linux and Bye Bye Microsoft!
