I bought this to film my RC Helicopter flights. Sometimes my boyfriend films some of my flights but mostly I fly alone. I wanted more footage from my flight but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a GoPro. So I was looking for a hat with a phone mount and came across this head mount. To be honest I didn't have a lot of confidence that it would work well but I found out the price was worth it. Basically, I was afraid that it wouldn't be steered in the right direction when filming, but to my surprise, it worked quite well. It was maybe 5 degrees higher but it captured most of the flight. In fact, this works better than having someone else present, since the person filming the video often loses sight of the plane due to the sun or the speed of the helicopter. It may take a while to get used to and a little uncomfortable at first, but for a 4-5 minute flight it's not bad at all. I'm not sure how it will perform with long-term use, but it suits my needs quite well. With a little tweaking, you could probably get even better shots with a little zoom.
