I'm not sure if my expectations were unrealistic, but I expected my hot coffee to get really cold. It's not like this. The instructions say to let the drink sit "less than 2 minutes" but after letting it sit for 3 minutes my coffee gets a little cooler. I have to put the coffee in the freezer for another 10 minutes and add ice so that it gets just as nice and cold. Since coffee contains oils, rinsing between bars isn't enough after a while. I think the company should say if it's safe to use certain coffee cleaners on it e.g. B. Soaking in "Deep Clean" coffee cleaner or something else. In my experience, this works well if you only like slightly chilled drinks, but if you want your drinks to be cold it's probably not worth it. I also have a Zoku iced coffee maker - it's just a travel case freezer. It works better than Coldwave in my opinion and can be used as a travel massager. Just put the lid back on and wait a few minutes or swirl vigorously if you want it to cool even faster. It works so well that I often have to take the lid off to keep the coffee inside from freezing. You can also use it to make simple ice cream and smoothies. May stay tuned.
