Good and bad. in cats

I bought a wooden/punched wood litter box a few years ago because I didn't want the litter box to be noticeable to visitors to my home. As my older cat got older, his marksmanship deteriorated and he could soak the bottom of the box with urine. It wasn't always visible and the litter box mount began to smell and deteriorate over time. It's time for a replacement, I bought this piece of furniture as it had no bottom and it would be easier to see and clean urine if an accident happened. This closed tray is not compatible with the high tray. The door swings open to open and can only accommodate crates less than 9 inches in height. I had to buy a shorter tray to fit. Well the cat is still splattering on the outside of the new box and cleaning the box, case sides and base defeats the purpose of the purchase. Also another problem in the first few days. The magnet holding the door open has shifted. I had to buy super glue and fix it. The glue dried and the box worked again. The next day, however, another magnet came loose and ripped the box off. Rather than reattaching another magnet, I removed the front panel of the furniture to fit a larger litter box. The tray no longer has a faceplate and I removed it to solve my problem. I took the front panel and connected it to the back panel in case I ever want to reinstall it. If your cats need a tall or tall litter box, don't buy one. You'll end up with more clutter than necessary, which is frankly very frustrating to tidy up. Definitely keep looking if you have a big cat! While overall the toilet holder was what I was looking for, I think it's overpriced for the quality. It feels cheap and I wouldn't store anything too heavy on it. Also within the first few days both magnets came loose and I had to buy glue to fix a brand new thing. It's expensive for the quality you get.

Pros
