These insulate well for a mild winter. There was enough room to put leggings underneath for really cold days. They look good but the waistband is very stiff and uncomfortable. I'm a little overweight so it might feel more comfortable on someone with a thin waist. I was upset when I found a small tear/hole on the seat of my pants. I've only worn the pants seven times, tops. I've only washed them on the gentle cycle in cold water and flat-dried them. This was disappointing, but I'm going to try and sew the hole up without making the seam look terrible. I thought they were a decent buy, until I found that the less-expensive pants I ordered (same date as this purchase) had no holes and we're holding up just fine. Hopefully I can sew the hole up and there won't be any more damage, because I actually like the pants - but not to wear during the summer.
