Our dog is 1 year old and works very well with the device, but we had problems with both devices.
Unit shorted out when my dog went in the pond, replaced with a duplicate unit and the switch inside the unit didn't work so we ordered another unit for a last try with this unit. the dog responds well to the block but the block can't take it, if I can't trust the product at this point I'll go elsewhere
