Excellent material but the factory edges are torn.

3M material excellent. I have used it on 3 blade 130cm e-prop carbon band in the past with great results. Unfortunately, both factory edges of this 2" x 84" roll are rough. I've attached a photo of the tape after I cut it into 1" wide strips. My edge is clean and the factory edge is raw. 3M material is expensive and needs to have perfectly clean edges. I was at a dead end and had to use this batch but I am not satisfied with the result.
