Lousy product, low quality.

Let me run down the drawbacks. I feel compelled to reveal right off the bat that I purchased two such smartphones, and they both suffer from the same issues. According to the phone's specs, everything is good, but in practice, it's not. When applications are minimized, they constantly reload, making it impossible to switch between them without losing work. This happens with both stock and third-party apps, and even the "settings" app reloads when minimized. It's not uncommon for apps to randomly freeze and refuse to respond to any button presses, in which case you'll need to close them by swiping them off the screen. The phone takes an extremely long time to reboot, and after it has finished doing so, it may remain on a blank desktop for many minutes. The fingerprint scanner is incredibly sluggish; even the Xiaomi mi note 3 from 2014 was much faster. It's not uncommon for a phone to display "pocket mode" after unlocking it, making it inoperable until the user swipes the screen. For some reason, even with this mode enabled, the camera and the lights will still activate if you put them in your pocket. The proximity sensor is also awful; you can be holding the phone on the table when you dial a number, but the screen will go black as if you brought it to your ear. Alternatively, you could be holding the phone to your ear while on a call and the screen would remain on. To my dismay, it appears that I did not purchase a genuine Samsung but rather a knockoff. In this case, it's happening on two different gadgets I purchased. There is no custom firmware, themes, or launchers, and no root access is required.

Pros
  • Full-featured camera, stereo sound, long-lasting battery, quick charging, and a high-resolution display.
Cons
  • Keywords: fingerprint reader, light sensor, proximity sensor, and performance improvement.
