Amazing. Bought a pair from Massdrop and was very pleased. Right after that I went straight to this second pair. I read some reviews about shoes wearing out within 6 months - another reason I bought a second pair. I hope this doesn't happen to me. I don't run in them - they are for everyday use, walking, working etc. The insole is quite thick. It's not soft like a pillow, but my feet feel very comfortable because of the thickness and the material used. I can lean towards my toes and feel them sink a little in a good way. Same as swinging in heels. No tightness or pain after bending forward or back for a few minutes. The shoes are certainly not wide so be careful if you have very wide or flat feet. As for the size, I don't remember my real one. I think maybe 9.4 inches? Both pairs are 9.5 inches tall. How did it end? It's perfect for me in the sense that it's slightly form-fitting, like a sock that hugs my foot securely without suffocating.
