It's strong yet compact, stable and surprisingly strong. To be honest I went without a laptop stand for many years because I didn't even know I needed this item. Being at the right position/height is helpful when you need to attend large-scale meetings. Now I understand that you can make several adjustments to have the right ergonomic fit for your situation. The change of position is not difficult, but requires two hands. Overall great product!
