I bought this because I needed a longer audio interface cable (Behringer UMC 1820) that works great. I started using this cable and it had clicks and tears during playback which I found odd. Adjusted buffers, etc. A newly built powerful PC is not a problem. I finally remembered swapping and swapping back this cable from the factory one that came with the kit. This solved the problem immediately. I pocketed this one again, the pops came back; I reconnected the normal one, the problem is gone, there is no noise. Your usage may vary, but I don't recommend this for high-demand recordings or audio usage. The popup tells me the transfer speed is slower than advertised and expecting for USB 3.0 which is what this cable should be. I ended up using a USB extender with an OEM USB cable, now it's working great again. It should be noted that the factory cable appears to have a noise canceller, so this may be necessary in some cases.
