Review on Galapagos 05132 Glass Aquarium Frosted by Stephanie Webb

It would be fine for some decoration but we got it as substrate for our Betta aquarium and despite a VERY thorough rinsing the water was almost milky - white after a day. This caused great damage to the 9 orbs of Marimo Moss that were there. They were incredibly bright green, and now they are covered with a white veil. They almost look moldy, even though I've washed and quarantined them, they still look that way. The jar is really cool and looks nice (I had two bags, one was made of large pieces and the other was made of small pieces, which wasn't ideal) but I would caution against using it with anything alive.
