It may not be pretty from the outside, but you'll never see it.
I was hesitant to buy it because a lot of reviews mentioned the 'ugly' looks. However, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Of course the exterior is unfinished, but why not? It is designed to fit in the handrail and the unfinished surfaces are not visible at all. It fits perfectly in my 18 year old Jeep Renegade and adds great storage space. As it is at arm's length, it can be used as extra storage for the driver or much needed storage for the passenger's phone, wallet, keys, etc.
