I bought a cheaper unit that didn't include wires for the inside of the welder to switch to a spool gun. I sent it back and bought this one. It took 30 minutes to put everything together. Then welded aluminum. I used a larger tip with 5000 series wire in my regular pistol and it was fine at first but then it started bunching up and the birds nested in the car. I had no problems with the roller gun.
