Long term rating after 3 years of use: Initially I was generally satisfied with this product but after considering the disadvantages of replacing incandescent bulbs (halogen ) Bulbs in my car with LED I found these 3 major flaws: Point 1: If you have a car that originally had bulbs for brake lights, signal lights, headlights etc. please heed the warning: Your electrical system and lenses are in Your lighting fixtures are designed for a specific lamp type and shape, so you may actually see a reduced effective light output as the light may be emitted at a slightly different angle with a different shape. This LED lamp does not focus the light beam properly. Don't take my word for it, google "automotive LED bulb replacement problems" or something like that, automotive experts can explain better and more. Instead you get a different sound/light on the dash when you use your turn signal (on my Toyota Sienna it flashes and clicks twice as fast. A symptom to alert you that the turn signal bulb is actually dead as it may be everything becomes Point 3: Some time ago (I'm not sure when this problem started but I've had them for 3 years now) I got an LED bulb from this seller that I use for my tail/brake lights The lightbulb started flickering and about half of the small LEDs that are built into the lightbulb are completely dead. Also, parts of the lightbulb's diodes are constantly flashing on and off, which can be dangerous since the drivers are behind you make believe can signal a turn.
