When fully assembled, the grip is wider, making it more comfortable for Nintendo JoyCons. The charging port (USB-C type) is on the top of the controller, which is good if you play while the JoyCon is charging. I have not used any other accessories unless I personally need them, but I love this product. The build quality is good and the grips feel large and comfortable in the hand. This is a great thing if you only have JoyCons and don't want to plug your JoyCons into the charging switch so you can't play. I have the Switch ProController as a backup just in case. Please note that the charging cable is not included, so please take note. All in all, if you're looking for a solid third-party JoyCon controller charging grip, look no further, this is a pretty good competitor for the Nintendo version.
