I'm more of a CrossFit athlete than a hardcore runner, but I started having problems with shin splints after running in CrossFit super flat shoes. I switched to training in it and my calf pain went away. Great shoes. My only criticism is that I think the dust gets into the fabric of the toe box. If you ever get them wet, they look like you've walked through mud. It looks awful. But then again, I'm the one who bought the white shoes.
