Review on YCIND Battery Alligator Cigarette Heavy Duty by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works well but too cheaply made

So far I have used this to deliver up to 12.5A (150W) and it has worked very well but I doubt it Durability. Longevity Pros: - Clamps hold tight. The spring is strong enough and the tooth design is holding up well. - The clips are designed to avoid accidental short circuits and they handle it well. too smooth, preventing the fork from slipping. Disadvantages: - Clamping contacts are made of steel with a copper coating (they are magnetic). Eventually they will rust because every time you clamp them to the battery they leave acid residue - The dust cap of the socket does not stay on (poor design) - The clamps are plastic with no reinforcement. They can last a long time with infrequent use, but they are more than likely to break near the pivot when exposed to chemicals, heat, or sunlight. Velcro cable ties are too long and uncomfortable. use it no matter how you package it. - It is slightly shorter than stated. The description says "Cable Length: 10ft (3.1m)" but the overall length is actually 9ft 11in and the cable length is 9ft 4in.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
