Best selection of the most durable oversize beads. I bought 3 packs and put 1 pack in 5 gallon pails. They grew and filled the buckets completely, and then I tossed them all in the tub overnight to keep them from spilling out of the buckets. I used swim liners to keep them all inside. In my little test, waxing them in hot water makes them expand faster BUT also makes them more prone to breakage. I would recommend making them in cold water overnight so they are ready the next day. They need enough water to grow. If they are not sufficiently watered or soaked with water, they break very easily. Just soak overnight, drain the water and you're done. We used them to fill the inflatable pool at the house for my daughter's birthday. I also bought these half pound bags. It just depends on how much you need or want to have on hand. They are really beautiful and you can't judge them at all in the packaging as they don't look quite grown up.
