This is no joke. It works very well, much better than the Sculpey shaper. It creates a clean, flexible shape that produces clean, clear tonal impressions. Sculpey molds require baking to set, and they will definitely set over time. I have some that are only 3 months old and are very hard. My first issue with this molding putty is that my box arrived open. The outer packaging showed no signs of being dropped or stepped on. It was packaged in a padded envelope which was part of the problem. However, the contents of BOTH canisters ran into the completely open box. Is it always delivered in this condition? Who thought this was a good packing procedure? The product itself was assembled MUCH faster than 3 minutes. According to the instructions, it takes up to 3 minutes. That's an exaggeration. After about a minute the putty became more difficult to work with, like pliable foam. I barely had time to mix the desired amount and press the item in. So, I really like it because of the beautiful shape it produces, but sacred organization and timing! Get your stuff ready to impress instantly. Also, it seems to work best with small items. If you had to sculpt a larger object, you would never have time to mix and squeeze it out in time. I've noticed that it's difficult to get wrinkles on it. I tried smoothing them out but it didn't work. Putty doesn't react like clay, and there's no time to be picky anyway. I don't know how people use this product to get smooth edged forms. I tried it but without the banana. If you're ok with making smaller shapes, this material creates an amazing shape. If you move a little slower, you can explore other options.
