Great product, lousy packaging

The first picture is what I opened up in my box, a bare box with no bubbles or kraft paper to keep the putty from bouncing around in the large mailer box . This left one of the lids on my putty open, I'm grateful I have a Revain distribution center in town rather than in multiple cities or my putty could dry out. I've used putty and it works like a charm, but whoever packs it needs to be aware that things will bounce on delivery. Groomer and shave the hair between the toes (if they are…

Doesn't work with polymer clay

I tried to mold it around an object I made with baked polymer clay but the shape never settled. It was sticky on the outside and extra sticky next to the polymer clay. When I pulled out the polymer clay, a layer of goo appeared with it. I mixed the clay with nitrile gloves, which I also use to mix polymer clay. To see if I made a bad batch, I made a mold out of a metal thimble using the same nitrile gloves and it also became a goo and collapsed. I'm thinking from Fimo residue on the gloves…

Pros
  • It's quick, easy and safe
Cons
  • A few little things

Lighter than your mother

Perfect! (Used with EasyCast Clear Epoxy) Instructions followed and acted quickly. It really helps to prepare your originals before you start mixing the two parts. You don't have much time to get everything done. So the more prepared you are, the better the results will be. If you complain about drying too quickly, use a stopwatch to track your steps. Trust me, this isn't one of those "let's see how it goes" deals. The more precisely you manage the time, the better the results will be. Timing…

Pros
  • The whole process takes less than twenty-five minutes
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Really quick installation

This is no joke. It works very well, much better than the Sculpey shaper. It creates a clean, flexible shape that produces clean, clear tonal impressions. Sculpey molds require baking to set, and they will definitely set over time. I have some that are only 3 months old and are very hard. My first issue with this molding putty is that my box arrived open. The outer packaging showed no signs of being dropped or stepped on. It was packaged in a padded envelope which was part of the problem…

Pros
  • This is great food and FDA compliant
Cons
  • boring packaging
