This helps on regular channels OTA (over the air) with TiVo. On nights we watch CBS the sound gravitates between muffles and loud voices and is very annoying. I called the company and they had me restart the speaker to reset the box but it continues to be a problem on that station. Whatever they use to make the experience greater on the channel screws with whatever Zvox used to make theirs better resulting in terrible sounding commentary. I'm not happy with this speaker and ready to move on to a better place.I don't recommend this buy
