Bought these as a spare stand as my local skateboard shop is closed during the current pandemic. Having ridden them for two weeks I would not recommend them for skateboarding use. They spin freely when installed in a wheel mounted on a truck axle. But once you sit on the board and start pushing, there is exceptional resistance. Ball bearings don't necessarily stick in a race, but I've found that they don't want to roll freely when subjected to direct weight. I prefer RUSH ABEC 7 bearings. To be honest I didn't expect these bearings to be on par; However, this product makes pushing tiring and constant. I would not recommend these bearings for skateboarding regardless of skill level, it makes it difficult to just casually skate and ride. I tried to save them by re-lubricating, but to no avail. They go in the trash can.
