The first one I received was defective. The circuitry got confused and over-charged my batteries until they get very hot and were damaged. Unfortunately, I did not test the device or discover its failure until after the return window expired. Fortunately, the company who sold it on Best Buy saw my negative review and offered to send me a replacement unit. I have since tested the device over a period of two weeks using different brands and sizes of batteries. The replacement unit has performed perfectly. The rudimentary user manual could be vastly improved and the LCD screen could also be tweaked for a better user interface, but overall the charger is a good value for the price. I appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the seller!
