Poor quality control --- Poor welds
First impression, product is good. Good steel, clean smooth seams, beautiful appearance. As a 3" muffler it's very quiet, no hiss when accelerating, no hum. Generally speaking, the longer the muffler, the quieter it is. I just wanted a quieter muffler for my '18 Tacoma. It would have been a good buy, but when installed the muffler leaked water and steam at both ends when starting, especially at the welds.I couldn't send it back as the thing was already installed, also the car was dismantled without the muffler.I had to remove the defective muffler and re-weld the ends. Too bad the muffler works fine now (in fact some complain that this muffler is too quiet to be a high performance muffler).
