Since early 2021 I've been looking for a capture card that meets the following requirements: 1. USB2. Cross-platform and plug-and-play3. 4K resolution, at least 30 fps (ideally 60 fps) There are a few cross-platform 4K capture cards out there, but they use a PCIe interface and I needed something more portable. This is the first card I came across. all 3 requirements and it wasn't even the most expensive! I have tested this on Windows 10, MacOS version 11.4 and Ubuntu 21. It worked out of the box on all three systems, no drivers needed. I only wish I had found this device sooner. If you NEED a 4K 60fps capture card then spend $500 on a Blackmagic or Magewell card, but if you can settle for 30fps at 4K then buy this.
