I've struggled with acne all my life; I had to take pills in high school. Now that I'm an adult it's purely hormonal: I get huge bumps around my chin that just go away and come back every month. I was recently diagnosed with inflammation and took a steady dose of ibuprofen for several months and noticed my face never flared up, leading me to wonder if my hormonal acne was inflammation. I did a little research and tea tree oil is anti-inflammatory; I have this, toner and moisturizer (once I tested it for sensitivity on my skin) and my face LOVES it. My skin feels so soft right after applying it and it smells VERY good. I'm not a fan of the tea tree essential oil scent so I was apprehensive about it but I really like it. Also, it makes my skin very soft the next morning. So if, like me, you've given up on your irritating skin (after trying everything), it could be inflammation. [Even if you have a tiny bit of moisturizer, don't worryβa little goes a long way. I was a little annoyed that the $9.99 product was so small, but you need MUCH less than you think; I doubt I'll ever finish it in my life ;) ]
