Very easy and quick to get on the boat. Be sure to bend your neck so the shiny, smooth part fits snugly against your skin. I sit up and try to curl up tightly, keeping my neck open to let out most of the air before entering the water and letting it out again. I'm in the water, otherwise if you break too much, the air will get through the seams and some of the water will get in. If the water is very cold you can dress as warmly as you like underneath, there are plenty of places. You can also wear your life jacket underneath so it stays dry and you don't have to wet your boat in the cold. The other day I was wakeboarding in 45 degree water with pants, t-shirt and sweatshirt underneath, after 10 minutes of wakeboarding I had to let go of the rope and sit in the water to cool off haha. If you vent before the ride it doesn't leak at all, you and your clothes come out completely dry, just bring gloves and neoprene socks. I'm 5ft 10" 195lbs and fits big for me, it also worked for my sister who is 5ft 7120lbs.
