I have to say straight away that the minor issues I'm having with this mount are more related to the design of the AOC monitor than the design of this adapter. The adapter itself is very simple. It is a flat plate with drilled and threaded holes for VESA mounting and its stabilizer. It comes with two U clamps, lock washers and nuts. It installs *really* quickly. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer is to note that the basic instructions require a stabilizer to be installed (it's a long screw, some plastic and sticky rubber to attach it - and yes the monitor needs it) . Result. If you have one of the monitors this is designed for, you have U-bolts that clamp it down and hold it to the plate and a stabilizer that holds it in place. because without them, it *will* sway from side to side. You have to deal with the design of AOC. Also, on my monitor, after installation, the monitor's "leg" that is usually attached to the base hangs down, which just looks weird. But then again, this is more AOC's fault for not designing the monitor with a VESA mount in mind. .In general everything works as it should, no problems.
