Goodbye! Some shortcomings that can be fixed.

Pro: Plenty of space! Holds two LARGE hard cases and some other small items. Waterproof. Through the mountains and a few hours of heavy rain. Well mastered the 1200-mile round trip. Straps are strong, nothing broken or moved. On one trip with cross rails, on the second with a cargo basket. Cons: A bit difficult to load onto the cross members of a taller vehicle. I have a Ford Explorer, the bag cannot be loaded until it is placed in your car. So it takes a lot of time balancing things on the cross rails and trying to use the space in the bag. A little fight. To punctuate the above, if you also have a roof-top luggage basket, this problem is pretty much solved. It's a lot easier to use all the space the bag offers and a lot easier to buckle up. Quite noisy, about 80 km/h. I didn't expect this thing to be quiet, and it isn't. (Also improved with a cargo basket) Reduced fuel economy by about 3 mpg (Also improved with a cargo basket) In summary, I'm happy with this bag, especially for the price. Looks very durable and has proven to be waterproof. Many deficiencies are greatly improved by using a roof cargo basket.
