Other companies offer USB power adapters for a fraction of the price of this unit that deliver plenty of power. So if you want to charge multiple devices and have an open outlet, this is a grossly overpriced thing. But after my wife and I had our first child, it was just impossible to go to the office to work on the computer. The only place in our living room that I can plug everything into is an outlet, so the choice was to either plug in my laptop or unplug it and plug in a USB charger to charge my phone, AirPods, and camera. After getting frustrated with a bunch of adapters, cables and wires I picked this up. It's saved me a few times when my phone was almost dead from staying up all night with a newborn, and also kept my laptop running when I needed important things to do. However, it has several disadvantages. It's terribly overpriced for what it does and I can't give it 5 stars for a $60 2-port USB hub. The international adapters are a nice touch for the right person, but I threw them away because I'll never use them - maybe the localized versions will cut costs and sell more units. I also hate the bright red color on cheap plastic - it gives the impression that a medical device is plugged into the laptop charger, not a hub. I also hate that I have to use my own wall plug (compared to the one that came with my MBP's charger) - I'm sure I'll lose that part somewhere if I ever decide to disable the PlugBug. And the fact that there is a 2.4A output, but that output only puts out 1A when two devices are connected seems very, very poor quality. But for the right use case, this is a really great product. It's also very cool to keep in your pocket. I just think they could do better in some areas with this product in general.
