Review on Aleene's 29-2 Tack-It Over & Over Liquid Glue 4oz: Reusable Adhesive Solution by Gelin Battle

I use Aline's nail all the time for my stamps and for gluing Cricut rugs. I buy a lot of rubber stamps at thrift stores, but I don't have space to store the wooden blocks, so I take them off the blocks and remove the backing from any styrofoam pieces that are stuck to them. I then use my fingertip to coat the back of the rubber with a thin layer of this tip. You have to let it dry completely so I leave them on overnight. Then I store them in boxes with CD stickers with a number on the back and they sit on the shelves in my workshop. I keep a diary in which the pattern is stamped and make a note of the CD case in which the stamp is found. If the rod is too big for the case, I tape it to a piece of cardboard that I've laminated, slip it into the side shield, and put it in a three-ring binder. I can now use all my rubber stamps with acrylic blocks or location stamps and they take up a lot less space than on wood blocks. I have used blocks to hold small shelves and many other small tasks around my workshop. I hate throwing something away when it can be used. I use a 1:1 glue and water thinner when my Cricut mats can't hold the cutting board anymore. I've only done this with old mats and have been able to keep them going for over 10 years. Sometimes I dilute the solution a little more when I need a lighter grip so you can adjust the solution to suit your needs. I clean my floor mats after sanding them clean with a product like Goo Gone and it works great. Cricut says this will void your warranty, so keep that in mind if you have a newer machine. And in my opinion there will be no problem as long as you keep the glue inside the edges of the mat as they were made. Remember, if you do this, you do so at your own risk. Haven't tried restoring the new style rugs yet because I bought a few but the old ones just keep ticking until they literally tear and fall apart.
