There is basically nothing wrong with this set. If you're short on space and need general-purpose random tables, that's fine. They are laminated with faux marble and are in no way solid wood. Assembly is easy, just screw on the legs by hand. They have a mid-century modern style that works with all sorts of decorating styles. The legs are finished in a muted gold color to mimic the metallic look of real antique table legs. What I don't like about this set is that the smaller table doesn't quite fit under the larger one. Not sure why not, the designer of this set could easily have achieved this by repositioning the legs. So if you are looking for ultra-practical folding tables, you should look elsewhere.
