Review on RJ9 Coupler Connector Extender Black by John Springer

I installed this to be able to use 2 phone cords for more phone range in our kitchen. After installation, my wife used her cell phone to call our landline number. With the plug in, there was a very noticeable drop in volume at the end of my wife's cell phone call. She complained that it was pretty weak. I tried changing the cables but nothing changed (which I expected). So I removed the clutch and went back to just one cord. Just so you know, I've tried each cable separately with the phone and they both work very well, so I don't think it's cables. I'm guessing I'll have to find a much longer phone cord somewhere, but I have no idea where to find one long enough to get the job done.
