Works but noisy at low speed.
Does the job but makes annoying high-pitched noise at low speeds. My old fan had some noise at higher RPMs, but was mostly quite loud at low RPMs. This one is so annoying that I had to send the old one back even though I didn't want to install it twice. Note that the new fan in the picture has multiple holes while the old fan is one piece. I'm not sure what the new design is for, but I suspect it's the reason for the high noise I'm hearing. Can leaves that get into the engine through the openings also cause a fire? Finally, the seller charges a restocking fee, which is understandable but still noteworthy.
